I was walking along Shankumukhom Beach one night about a week ago when an odd-shaped bottle washed up on the shore. I opened it and out popped a genie.

"I'm getting a little sick of granting three wishes.  It never works that way. So you can forget about getting three wishes.  You only get one wish. I will grant you one wish." said he.

"Okay," said I. "I've always wanted to go to US; but I can't. Could you build me a bridge to US so that I can drive over there to visit? Make a highway bridge from Kerala to US."

He scoffed and said, "Even genies have their limits. Wish again, please, but be more realistic."

"Okay," said I. " I wish that I could understand women... know how they feel inside and what they're thinking when they give me the silent treatment... know if they really want me to continue talking ... know why they're crying ... know what they really want when they say, 'Nothing'...know how to make them truly happy.... know what they really means when they say 'fine' "

The genie, "So how many lanes do you want on the bridge?"
